Community Support Workers – Worcester

Home Care Assistants/Community Support Workers

Location: Worcester

Hours: Full & Part Time

Salary: £9.40 – £10.45 per hour

We have full-time, part-time and also ‘bank’ Community Support Workers / Home Care Assistants opportunities available throughout Worcester and the surrounding area.

 

Applicants would be providing care within a specified area and responsibilities are varied and may include personal care, medication support, preparing meals, shopping, or accompanying a client on a social visit.

 

Contracted hours are given after completion of a 3 month probationary period.

 

Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.  Being a driver and having use of a car is essential.  A full enhanced DBS check will need to be completed by all successful applicants.

Support Workers help clients with personal care, the administration of medication, meeting fluid and nutritional needs, incontinence care, manual handling, record keeping and social interaction in the community.

There is a degree of flexibility in hours but applicants would be required to work every other weekend.
