What is Home Care?

Bramble Home Care provides high-quality home care (also known as domiciliary care) that allows you/or a loved one to remain living in their own home whilst getting the support and care they need to enable them to live as independently as they can.

Home Care is a good solution for someone who needs care and is not ready or doesn’t want to go into a care home. This service also offers peace of mind to families knowing their loved one is being cared for in their own environment with familiar surroundings, and still being in complete control of how they wish/want to live their life.

How can Home Care help me?

Our flexible home care covers a wide range of services, and our dedicated team of home care assistants is fully trained to help and support you with those everyday tasks right the way through to the more complex needs.

So, whether you need help with…

  • Starting your day - getting up, washed, and dressed for the day

  • Medication support - prompting and reminding

  • Shopping, appointments and collecting prescriptions, etc

  • Social outings - supporting you with social activities like going out for a walk, to attending a day centre, etc

  • Household tasks – cleaning, hoovering, laundry, ironing, bed changing, washing up and putting away, etc

  • Assistance into bed, closing curtains, and leaving the property secure at night,

  • Toilet assistance and managing incontinence, stoma bags, etc

  • Preparing, cooking, and serving meals and drinks

  • Feeding any pets

…then our home care service is fully adaptable to meet your growing needs, which can be offered every day of the week, all year round across Gloucestershire.

I need Home Care, what happens next?

Our home care service is tailored around each individual client, so please contact us to arrange your FREE holistic assessment.

The FREE holistic assessment is based on you, especially around your needs, preferences, and wishes, empowering you to exercise your choices. This also enables us to ensure we match you with staff that has the correct skills to look after you, and provide them with any additional training needed to meet your care needs such as specialised feeding or medication routes (peg) that at one time could only be met in a care home.
